EIGHT  RIVERS INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE is a NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE clinic in Ipswich Massachusetts serving Ipswich and the surrounding towns of Rowley, Topsfield, Hamilton, Wenham, Beverley, Essex, Manchester-By-The Sea, Gloucester, Georgetown, Boxford, Newbury, Newburyport, Salem, Swamscott, and Marblehead. Some people come from farther away to be seen.

We are a primary care clinic with a special interest in drugless chronic pain alleviation. We see men, women, children and infants. We do well baby visits, and treat most  medical conditions, as well as offer individualized protocols to improve health and strengthen the immune system against infectious diseases such as flu and viruses.

Dr. Ertha has had excellent success against chronic pain of injuries, arthritis, migraine headaches, TMJ, trigeminal neuralgia,  fibromyalgia,and digestive complaints, as well as aleviation of symptoms and side effects of conventional chemo- and radiation therapy cancer treatments.

Dr. Ertha often works closely with the patient's primary M.D. or D.O.to complement and augment conventional treatments, and will refer when it is in the patient's best interest to see a different type of healthcare provider.

Current office hours are Monday 10am to 6pm,Tuesday 10am to 6pm, Wednesday 4pm to 8pm, Thursday 10am to 6pm, and Friday 10 am to 6 pm. Other hours by appointment. Telephone hours 9am to 10 am daily except Wednesday, which is 3pm to 4pm.

What will your visit to Dr. Ertha be like?
At your first visit you will receive a complete physical examination, and laboratory work will be requested. Other tests may include nutritional and dietary assessments, metabolic analysis, allergy testing, and X-rays.

At each subsequent visit you will be re-evaluated, and the treatment tailored for your current condition.

Dr. Ertha may treat with Botanical Medicine, Homeopathy, Hydrotherapy, Naturopathic Manipulative Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, or a combination of these according to the needs and preferences of the patient. If any herbal remedies are prescribed they will be formulated specifically for the patient in consideration of all factors involved.

Here is a good little map that shows our location in relation to the towns in the area served.

We are located on the stretch of road where Routes 1A and 133 are one road. The building at 174 High St. is called Ipswich Village. It is located just 1.4 miles northwest of the intersection of Central and Market Streets in Ipswich proper, and about 1.7 miles southeast from the intersection where 1A and 133 part as 1A continues to Newbury and 133 goes toward Georgetown. We are between the Dairy Queen and the Hair Loft. Suite 14 is the first door on the right as you enter at the rear entrance of the building. It is handicapped accessible. There is plenty of free parking.
